"Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.":
The heart is a gateway where things/ thoughts flows in and flows out of a person. The kind
of thoughts we harbor in our heart can either defile or edify us. This is the more reason we need to guard our heart from every evil or negative intrusion. When the heart is defiled, the soul is defiled too. Someone once said, "The heart is the window of the soul" Nothing gets to the soul except it pass through the heart. Let me say that he who guards the heart, keeps the soul. The soul cannot be defiled as long as the heart remains pure.
Keep your heart pure always, by the undefiled word of God.
The heart is a battle ground where much of the battles we face daily are fought. Once you're defeated in the heart, you are already defeated in life.
Ask God to give you the grace to keep your heart from all fiery darts and attacks of the devil.
